Last year AMS – Architectural & Metal Systems invested in a 3D printer. This piece of equipment has helped many of our customers see the profiles they are interested in extruding with us before they commit to the final shape of a die.
The 3D print gives near 100% accuracy and enables clients to check fits with gaskets, hardware, mouldings and add on profiles. It gives our customers a chance to make changes that they may not have obviously seen from the start of their #design #process and also gives their customers or architects a glimpse of what the final product will look like before it goes into production.
